Albatros are one of the worlds largest flying birds. They can have a wingspan of 3.5m now that is more than 3 x my arm span. They feed on fish, squid and krill by diving for them, scavenging or surface feeding. Of the 21 species 19 are threatended with extinction. Most birds lay one egg a year while ducks can lay up to 20. Albatross spend almost all of there lives at sea. They even sleep on the ocean. Thank goodness for there warm feathers.
